Wisdom is the keyword in the book of Proverbs. The Bible almost urges us
to gain wisdom at all costs. My interpretation of this is to have perspective.
Perspective gives me space to fill in different points of view regarding a
matter, it’s how I look at things and try to understand how other people look
at things, and at the end, make up my mind where I stand. In others words,
perspective defines who I am.
Fulfillment in life often associates itself with action to complete what
we desire. Desire with no action leads to regret. So, with perspective, knowing
who we are and what we want, the next important thing is the drive to make it
work for us. I realized that it is not what we accomplish that fulfills our
lives. In the past, I worked so hard for accomplishments because I thought that
would give me fulfillment. Now at the age of 31, I realize that it is actually what
I am doing that gives me fulfillment. Fulfillment is not what I do or what I
have done. Fulfillment is living out what I know, what I want, it is about me
being who I am. Fulfillment is now, at this present moment and not past deeds. This
is definitely one of my enlightening days!
Lastly, I want to write about love. There is no point in life without
love. Love is the fuel that sustains us. Without it, there’s actually not much
point in living. Everybody knows what love is, in a general sense. But in our
little minds, if we think hard enough, there’s always more to know more about
love. Love has just too many dimensions to it. It’s a never ending journey to
learn to love.
